The Original Museum
Teignmouth and Shaldon Museum was first opened in 1978 thanks to the efforts and determination of members of the local Historical Society at that time.
Today the museum is still flourishing as part of the Teign Heritage Centre, to a large extent due to the support and goodwill of these Society members (now Friends of Teign Heritage).
Why not become a Friend of Teign Heritage?
Friends receive unlimited free admission to the Museum, a programme of talks during the autumn and winter, access to the archives, summer outings, and a bi-annual journal of interesting articles on local topics.
Membership is £18 per year.
If you would like to become a member, you can either download and complete the membership joining form or pop into the museum and fill one in there.
