When you arrive at the museum, stewards will welcome you and provide help with enquiries.

The museum tells the history of Teignmouth and Shaldon. There are two main galleries; the "Sea Gallery" is on the ground floor, and the "Shore Gallery" is accessible via a lift or a lighthouse spiral staircase. To find out more about what is in the galleries, see the information on our collections.

We have audio guides to listen to on your tour. These are especially useful for people with partial sight. You can plug your own earphones into the talking pens.

For more information see the Museum Guide. This is also available for purchase in the shop.
