This is a purpose-built, modern community venue.
The room accomodates up to 60 people (although it can equally be used by a small group).
It has a sprung floor and is used as a dance, yoga and performance space. It has also been used for talks, meetings, craft groups and family events including a baby shower and a wake.
The room comes equipped with:
- chairs and tables
- a fully-equipped kitchenette
- digital projector
- drop-down media screen
- sound system
- DVD player

A sound-proofed screen can be put in place to make the room private when visitors are in the Museum galleries.
This venue is also available to hire ouside of our normal opening hours, at weekends, evenings and other times when we are closed to the public.

These include the use of AV equipment and kitchenette.
- regular hirers £15.00 per hour
- one-off hire by community organisations / charities £18.00 per hour
- business rate £25.00 per hour
